A couple of things that have stood out over the last few weeks:
1. The “deals” reported on have almost all seemed to be precursors to actual negotiations. Mostly focusing on Hormuz it seems?
2. Absolutely no discussion of surveillance regime governing any nuclear production?

I’m a little behind on the news this week, but it’s hard to see how things hold unless something significant has changed on this point. But given this comment I don’t think they have.
With respect to the US—even if Trump is genuinely trying to end this thing and is willing to make serious concessions to Iran, this makes the US look incredibly ineffectual unless it can actually check Netanyahu.
It’s also possible the US is trying to box him in, so maybe this is just cheap talk on Netanyahu’s part. We’ll see if things change meaningfully in the coming days.
