A tray holding; a flattened filter paper covered in dark blue lake pigment paste drying, a big old metal spoon that was used to spread the paste out, a measuring spoon with hastily made blue watercolour paint in it, a paint knife covered in the blue paste, a pasteur pipette of watercolour binder, a large Swatch of the paint and a paint brush. The whole lot is on top of a sheet of greaseproof paper.
