(1/2) - I have a fun (?) question for all of my fellow Trekkies out there. Who are your top five favorite recurring (non-main cast) characters? Mine are Elim Garak, Q, Ro Laren, Thy'lek Shran, and Nog.
The only reason Russia--and the USSR before it--worked at all was the babushkas, the grandmas. The generation of men who were young 1941-1945 basically died in the Great Patriotic War. If the grannies didn't deal with shit, it didn't get dealt with.

(2/2) - Honorable Mentions - Elizabeth Shelpy, Edward Jelico, Rom, Brunt, Gul Dukat, Spock (Discovery), Peanut Hamper, Agimus, and Guinan.
And a big ass tree limb fell onto the Spooses' car and shattered (ish) the windshield. Apparently, we're liable because it was an "Act of God," even though the tree was a nightmare of untrimmed chaos. Gee whiz, I'm glad we can afford... oh, poopy.
