The lens cost $12 in ca 1908 and was used to project announcement slides during a moving picture show alongside an Edison projector.
Some slides had hilarious text:
"We Cordially Invite Ladies and Children to this Theater. No Pictures will be shown that can possibly offend the most refined taste."
I mounted a Williams, Brown & Earle lantern lens with Petzval design on my Abracam Version 2.
And made a #LargeFormat self-portrait with the antique lens.
