Proudly buying worn-out albums from jumble sales since 1968.

Jazztastic CD haul, mostly 50p/£1. The Stan Tracey album is an unsung British jazz classic. The chazzas seem to be overwhelmed with CDs lately, some real bargains to be had.

Unusual Cold War era album picked up for a quid. Mercury Living Presence albums are not often seen here. Surprisingly valuable.
This 1970 Vashti Bunyan is rightly revered and I never expected to see it for 50p in a local chazza. Imagine my delight when I saw this inscription inside...
If you're interested in dipping a toe into the world of classical music, there are some outrageous bargains to be had out there. This NM 9-album (!) Decca box set of Brahms'completr solo piano works cost me £1. If it's not your bag, this routinely sells on Discogs for £25+
CD bargains can still be found out there in Chazzaland. Blistering bop from a Tubby Hayes' club date in 1967. Has fetched £50 on 'Cogs.
Jimmy Smith LPs are usually knackered, having been played to death at parties on worn-out Dansettes. Amazingly, these two are easily VG+ and only £2 each at the boot. Like all his albums, they're a whole lotta fun.
Another hard-to-find jazz album unearthed in Oxfam's CD section. On a roll lately after many weeks of returning home with an empty rucksack..
This is what Record Store Day should be about. Instead of endlessly revamping the same tired old shit, let's have more re-releases that buyers really long for. Like this. Pretty much unavailable since 1976, it's a funk & soul gem. The first commercial LP by a prison imate (and convicted murderer)
One of the great lost British jazz albums from 1969. Originals hardly ever surface and even this 2014 CD is scarce, making it one of my most unexpected finds this year. It's a total delight, from soup to nuts.
Before you get too excited, I should mention that it's the CD, which is still a rare sight.
