Bravo to @weownit.org.uk for getting this added: “No Minister of the Crown, and no person who is a member of the body [GBR], may take any steps that will result in the body ceasing to be wholly owned by the Crown”. Only government can own shares in GBR. No private interests. Not now. Not in future.
This happens in the UK also. Governments are perpetually subsidising private sector. Surely we just need to get a grip and fund crucial infrastructure and utilities from the state so everyone gains the rewards?

The International Union of Railways has released a report confirming what we have been saying for years: transferring revenue risk to the private sector simply doesn't work, and the public is left to eat the cost anyway.
