Not that I necessarily disagree but tbf professional athletes are notoriously petty and often maladjusted esp now when youth sports/leagues, esp elite ones, have become increasingly professionalized
I cannot get over scoring a goal in the World Cup for your country and your immediate reaction is laser-focused on what this means for your haters
