It’s both true CA can absolutely do better w/ more funding to speed up processing but also the delay is in part of CA’s more liberal voting policies (which are good) and ppl tbb need to accept immediacy & voting rights can conflict at times And we know this bc we saw this in 2020 outside CA

okay but other states count the votes with the same amount of accuracy in like 10% of the time so and yes CA has a lot of people which means it also has a large tax base and could easily better resource counting votes faster

Why? Other than Republican conspiracism there is no actual problem with taking the time to accurately count votes. The general election is in four months!

A rare bad take here! It’s day 10 and there’s no reason the results shouldn’t be complete by now, even with a state as big and voter-friendly as CA. If we’re in November and we’re waiting this long to know House control, that is a bad outcome
