There is a reason that the VAST majority of humanity for the VAST majority of our history hasn't tried to survive off of subsistence farming.
Even if you have the knowledge and the land and the time, one bad season and your family's dead. Whoops!
First reasonable, adult response I've gotten here. Though I don't see how I am advocating for that-I believe we should be growing & consuming all of our own foods although I certainly see how that is unreasonable to just begin tomorrow for most. Long story short: raw milk is possible & better for us
