My wife & I rarely go out to the movies, so when we do it’s fun to jazz it up a bit with VIP. Now that I’ve won this CineClub membership, I hope to go to lots of movies regardless of the bells & whistles, but with her, I wanna treat her all VIPish!

I agree, Interstellar it is superior to PHM. But it was going for something very different. It built its story around more hard science, which I hugely respect. PHM was more interested in spectacle, saving the world and having this guy discover what he’s capable of when he didn’t believe in himself.
I do so enjoy VIP auditoriums at Cineplex! Here with my wife to see The Devil Wears Prada 2, which was good but not as compelling and fun as the original.
Wouldja believe the chicken tenders, popcorn, strawberry cheesecake, plus wine and coconut rum, came to nearly 80 bucks?!?

It's nice there are so many fellow bus riders thoughtful enough to talk on their cell without the use of earbuds, or with the phone call on speaker. I wouldn't want to miss one scintillating second of their inane and superficial conversations.

Everything from the characters, the visuals, the epic plot, the ideas... this is why I want to keep going back to movie theatres. This is why I want cinema to survive. I will undoubtedly buy this on 4K UHD, but even with my 65" screen at home, this experience in the theatre cannot be bettered.
Very little time this week to watch full-length flicks, so contenting myself with some amazing short films.
