After a long and stressful week, my wife asked me if we had any cake. Sadly, we didn’t. So I swung by a bakery and picked up this strawberry cake with lemon frosting. Her birthday is in a couple weeks so I asked the baker to write Happy Early Birthday Barb ❤️ on it. She was delighted. 😊
I’m not much a fan of caramel but this is surprisingly tasty.
I’m finally at that point where I’m declining to go to shows or events based on the time it finishes. The show *finishes* at 11pm?! I plan to be in my toasty jammies in bed by then!
Everything from the characters, the visuals, the epic plot, the ideas... this is why I want to keep going back to movie theatres. This is why I want cinema to survive. I will undoubtedly buy this on 4K UHD, but even with my 65" screen at home, this experience in the theatre cannot be bettered.
First time seeing La Dolce Vita and I got to see it on the big screen! Absolutely extraordinary film, I was knocked out by how good it is. Thanks to @letterboxd.social for the free tickets!
