No hate, but this kind of thing always baffles me. Writing like this still exists. I despise the "modern audiences" line and how often it gets parroted. It feels like half-hearted criticism. Less about quality and more about this mythical golden era when art was good. Always looking backwards.

The writing in this film is so Human as to be foreign to modern audiences. The irony poison has stripped us of this level of honesty. Evergreen film.
