Appreciate all the help. So after researching this, I need Windows 10 Enterprise IoT LTSC 2021, which is like, the version they use on ATMS & stuff so it has all the ads stripped out. It's supported until 2032 so all that "You need 11" stuff is a lie I guess? At least I know what to do going forward

It's getting to be where you need to buy things multiple times, not because they're going up in price, but because you can't risk the new version of that thing not being remarkably worse than the current one in some unknowable way. Buy 3 refrigerators. Why? Because they're probably gonna mess it up.
See, it's stuff like this that has me being all annoying about computer parts. This guy does data recovery for a LIVING, & they won't replace his stuff under warranty. I'm beginning to think they don't want people building computers anymore. Hope he wins.
