There are tons of things that wouldn't be made today because acceptable norms have changed. You also couldn't have made most of what is currently streaming when I was a kid as evidenced by Bart Simpson saying "damn" was a national political emergency.
NEWS: A @lawfaremedia.org report finds that *97* Jan. 6ers who received clemency for their role in the attack were arrested, charged, or convicted of subsequent crimes—a number much higher than previously reported.
