A group of friends do a leg workout on Mondays, so we can run far and injury free and crush our enemies (that might be just me).
It might not look like much, but it helps!
I had 2 weeks to update a slew of programs, but no good way to test them. Yesterday was almost quiet and now we are finding out how many had secondary and tertiary areas accessing the API.
I have been frazzled all morning.
The #showmeyourknits from last week (probably) was stripes. Boy I knit a lot of stripes!
I'm just sharing 1, because it was pretty fabulous! I can't believe this was from 4 years ago!
I took my sweater in progress and put it on those rubber things that connect to the needles and it fits! And the needle things work, so my stitches didn't pop off! And it was way easier than threading waste yarn through the entire thing!
Cake was had!
Chocolate Caramel Cake from King Arthur, modified to be gluten and lactose free.
I have defeated cake and it has defeated me!
I have a frosted cake in the fridge, with enough extra frosting to decorate after adding the ganache.
The cake is gluten free. It would have been dairy free too except I used the lactose free milk instead of the oat milk.
Ganache will be made later after the cake has chilled and I have knit.
I took today off work. I went to the gym, bought groceries, made harlequin sandwich filling, and now I have chewy lemon blondie bars in the oven.
The lemon blondie bars are gluten free and dairy free (even though I had to skip the optional lemon crumbles because milk is one of their ingredients).
I start work for the day in about 20 minutes, so I am sitting in the parking lot and knitting. Crafts don't do themselves!
(The car is off.)
