Step 9 in the fight for democracy is electing leaders who protect us. The FBI raids against Ohio grassroots organizations echo attacks on the right of Black and brown voters to be heard. We must be vigilant about defending our democracy — everywhere for everyone. So we register, engage, and vote.
The GOP intends to interfere with the 2026 elections in part through intimidation at the state and local level, where the national media won't bother to cover it.
