Step 9 in the fight for democracy is electing leaders who protect us. The FBI raids against Ohio grassroots organizations echo attacks on the right of Black and brown voters to be heard. We must be vigilant about defending our democracy — everywhere for everyone. So we register, engage, and vote.

FBI agents on Thursday raided the Cleveland offices of the Ohio Organizing Collaborative — a pro-democracy organization that helps register voters in that state, according to three people briefed on the search.
“Just straight up intimidation tactics”: Sources tell MS NOW agents also fanned across the state, showing up at staff members’ homes.
