They were found guilty of conspiring to use force against their own government to prevent the peaceful transfer of power.
A conservative, Trump-appointed judge applied terrorism enhancements to their sentences.
I also want to point out that there are entire levels of the government that you have never once had to think about because we had competent adults in charge and now, we don't and that is a huge part of why you're probably freaking out.
