Some recent highlights from a trip east Military, Orchis militaris, Lady O. purpurea, Late Spider Ophrys holosericea and the amazing hypochromatic Fly O. insectifera
Quite a few non-resupinate Pyramidal Orchids at this location - the individual flowers have failed to twist 180° as they normally would during development and so appear upside down (or the right way up, depending on your point of view). Dorset 16/7/26 #orchid #wildflowers
