I have always loved TV. Even Canadian TV. I have a hard time finding US programs, months, even years, after they air. Here I am - to fill a void. Maybe. researchette.tumblr.com

I love this account so much. This particular strip is blowing my mind cause it feels like it would appear in a 90's alt-weekly next to Drinky Crow and Zippy the Pinhead.

Thanks to @consumertc.bsky.social making this available, I'm now the proud owner of this little baby! Actually, it will be a gift to my Star Trek loving husband, so shhhhhh don't say anything to him.

Perhaps the only show where "Robin Yount" was a regular punchline.
Possibly my favorite documentary ever is "June 17, 1994" (yes, I watch it every year on the day), which is simply the footage of that day in sports which also includes the World Cup, the NBA finals, the Rangers victory parade...and the O.J. Simpson low-speed chase. Perhaps, a sequel is in order?

Hey, #birdsky... does this little buddy look like a juvenile mourning dove? That's what Merlin says, but I'd like a second opinion.

The first licensed Happy Meal was this STAR TREK MEAL. As you’d expect, McDonald’s produced toys for this, but in a puzzling move, the translite sign only showed off a single box. (1979)

I worked in retail and had to come up with a different way to say "fucking hell". I'd studied abroad in the UK, so "bloody" seemed good. And I'm a Greek/Roman mythology nerd (obviously), so Hades seemed like a good stand in for hell.
