First day of Plait/Form at the RAGElab hosted by @profcrunk.bsky.social was amazing! I even got to try a new craft. See next post!
I have a new children’s book out. You can pick it up wherever books are sold!
Thank you @profcrunk.bsky.social for calling out the issue underlying the scourge of mass shootings in this country. Mental health is the easy answer, and it is obviously part of the problem, but the patriarchy rotting our society from the roots has to be addressed. www.thecut.com/article/shre...

The President of Rutgers continues to dismantle DEI despite the fact that we are a state school and the voters of New Jersey roundly rejected all things Trump last November. It is infuriating. He and the entire leadership team at Rutgers are all Black people btw.

The Shreveport Mass Killing Isn’t Just About ‘Mental Health’

Girl. This ain’t the account for you. Read any credible book on Black Feminist Thought from the 21st century. You could read one of mine. Or you could read my white feminist colleague Kyla Schuller’s book “The Trouble with White Women.” Now go away.
