Agreed - as a DM, seeing my players figure shit out on their own is my favourite thing. Satisfying as hell. "Hold on... we just fought vampires... is this cult leader also a vampire?" "Which dragon's bones are these? Bahamut's or Tiamat's? ...It's BOTH."
I know summer has started because I look so pale by Andalusian standards that people think I am a tourist and they speak loudly to me.
It's not October, but this is still helpful.
