bypassing the verdant
fields of me,
where water
flowed abundantly,
where sunbursts
made me flourish,
consuming darkness
easily
you went to my centre,
labelled alienation
& gave the seed
to the little girl
you found there
who was
waiting,
waiting
for something
to bloom.
