As the state retrenches, & its operatives get schmoozed by clueless consultants, it’s at local level there is a pervading & accurate sense of “this isn’t right” - the question is, who is there to help people find the answers as to why, & what to do about it? You? Me? Farage & Musk’s footsoldiers?

A thread about young people and about the need to protect the purpose built places they can swim - not just because its about safety (though obviously that is so important) But because, as an MP once said: "When we get down to swimming, we get down to democracy"
Web 2.0 has replaced solidarity with hashtags and hustle culture. Time to get out and talk to people instead.

Stratford Park Lido in Stroud set to reopen as repair costs approved
The Gloucestershire lido will reopen in the summer if repair works go smoothly.
