Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy tells the BBC "tech companies have had more than enough time to create products that keep children safe online... if they're not prepared to do it, they lose the right to market their products towards children.” Nandy is making an announcement tomorrow.
This feels like the only reasonable position. Otherwise it's some sort of amazing loophole... "AI did that, so no one can be held responsible" is a terrible idea.

Simple question that unlocks a lot. All else equal, if Government increases spending by $10bn next year will there be: (a) $10bn more in the economy to pay taxes / buy bonds (b) $10bn less in the economy to pay taxes / buy bonds (c) no difference to the amount of money The answer is absolutely (a).
