With the planned social media ban for under-16s, I'm reminded that YouTube is apparently already banned for unsupervised under-13s and I've definitely never seen them use that.
Sure - I'd be interested if there are any other reasons you've come up with; the most obvious I've seen though is the RLHF datasets created by organisations like lmsys offering A/B testing in early models - turns out we humans tend to click on the "omg you're so clever" ones a bit much...
I'm giving a lecture on the history of AI on Tuesday, and there's a whole bit on why they've ended up so sycophantic. It's absolutely tiresome when you're trying to use them for anything.
I'd love to take some blame but don't think I really can - looks good though and pleased we were involved locally as well as evidence of a region coming together!
