🐳🌐🦤🧪 New data from tagged fin whales in southern New England show low non-song call rates during mid-summer. Calls from males were most frequent during nighttime feeding, indicating context-dependent sound production and implications for acoustic detection. bit.ly/esr01487
🌐🧪🦤 We estimated numbers of loggerhead and green turtles for 19 years in Florida Bay and estimated survival of loggerheads. Green turtle numbers increased and loggerheads showed no trend. Loggerhead survival was generally high in this protected habitat. bit.ly/esr01502
