microsoft and less so sony have lost their touch with that a little doesnt mean its not the dominant reason people buy the hardware, and saros is not a good basis to go off, returnal and saros are a niche genre, you might aswell base nintendos success on advance wars reboot camp sales.
...like too many easy headlines for the msm. "Man who lost 2015 GE is now PM, still eats bacon sandwiches in a weird way". Andy is without a doubt the only person in labour who could perform better than those currently up for running, but with that said, i think he has rushed into a little.
unfortunately their best leader currently sitting is already the PM and has had his reputation set on fire repeatedly by the bloodthirsty msm in this country, not saying he's perfect but saying that the damage is unrecoverable. The only other decent candidate is miliband and that just seems...
and yes the by election costs tax payers but its really a rounding area and just the cost of democracy, and when that money is going to people doing the work manning the polling stations and counting the votes, i dont think thats a bad thing.

...have existing libraries on. outside of that hardcore bubble most consumers still just buy the box that has the games they want on.
firstly the two biggest players are the ones from japan, microsoft is not in that bucket, and i think its fair to say nintendo hardware sells as insanely well as it does because they're the only ones still pumping out quality exclusives on a regular basis within reasonable budgets, just because
like its as simple as games sell consoles. general consumers buy the console that has the games they want to play, its that simple, and in turn the console manufacturers are encouraged to make a good amount of high quality exclusives to compete with each other.
50 years of history tell you what sell consoles and its games (aka exclusives). obviously if there was no exclusives ever again people would still buy consoles as a whole but its how you get people to buy YOUR console, and its how you justify making these super high budget games.
i'm not disagreeing with whether you think exclusives are anti consumer etc, i am just saying that outside of our online bubble most people are not hardcore gamers, most ps5, switch 2 and even xbox players just buy the console that has the games they want on, or i imagine in the case of xbox...
frustrating for players maybe but for healthy console sales exclusives are required to move boxes, its still the main reason people buy a specific console, if theyre all pushing each other to make better exclusives at a faster rate (more effeciency like nintendo), thats better for everyone.
