We are tracking Arctic charr! A new collaborative project between @mfri.bsky.social and @haskoliislands.bsky.social within the LIFE Icewater project. Today we deployed acoustic receivers in Thingvallavatn to track Arctic charr. This will help us better understand their habitat use and mortality.
The study explores “seasonal shifts and individual variation in juvenile Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) diel migration at nearshore nurseries”
