One of my favorite things about Star Trek DS9 is wildly different scales between the A-plot and the B-plot. A-Plot: Kira has to negotiate an interdimensional hostage exchange B-Plot: Bashir has to find the owner of a shoe left in the infirmary You know what? Those B-plots are so strangely good.
