We're thrilled to share that YouMove is now reaching 16,934 people across the county, allowing families to get active together and enjoy swimming, dance, yoga and more. 💃
We're also reaching 268 Early Years families since launch in 2024. 🙌

In our county, 26% of children cannot swim 25m when leaving primary school. In our priority neighbourhoods, the figure is 44%.

Last week, we hosted a chalking session at Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre, inviting families to bring their design ideas for the development of our 'Play Corridor'!
As part of our Active Neighbourhood Scans work, the area will be developed into an outdoor activity space for all to enjoy. 🌷
Our partners at OXSRAD (a fantastic inclusive sports and recreation centre) are hiring for roles of Activity Lead and Rebound Therapist.
The Activity Lead role offers daytime hours, making it suitable for parents or anyone seeking work around school hours.
