Finally done and watching the credits and saw “Billy Spears” and I have no idea if that’s A) actually someone’s name, B) an alias someone’s using for some reason, or C) just a joke someone took the time to sneak in on this game that barely made it out the door.

I have no idea why this didn’t kill me. My best guess it has something to do with those shot changes, like he’s not falling far enough to trigger the autodeath before that change, and then the change resets the height, and that last one is actually a very short drop.

Ok the thing about Glóin is that it rhymes with Owen, but most people, including The Hobbit (2003), just read it as Gloyn. And that’s fine, it’s whatever, I’m not gonna be a stickler for correct pronunciation from a game that barely shipped.
Except then they decided to reference Glóin’s dad.

Another thing the game doesn’t say you can do is when you’re dragging a block you can apparently press A to flip it but to be fair it seems to serve no purpose whatsoever. Maybe there’s a puzzle in The Lonely Mountain to at uses that? Currently trying to not wake up Smaug.

Oh and there’s a bit toward the end of “Riddles in the Dark” when you can use a stone to flip a switch, which I’m fairly certain the game never tells you you can do and I don’t even know if it ever comes up again.
