Certain people cannot comprehend volunteerism. I have saved 19 lives from SF Bay since 2019 as a volunteer in the USCG Auxiliary. I’ve had active duty CG ask me why I go out on small boats without being paid.🤷♂️
Been seeing a lot of tweets about whether pleats are back. Are they "in" or "out?" Are they modern or old?
Personally don't like this line of thinking, as it's driven by ready-to-wear trends, which forces you to update your wardrobe every decade. Let me give you another way to think about pleats. 🧵
I have had to take way too many trips to offsite storage and rummaging in the garage for books to refer to. What I wouldn't give for a home with a room large enough to house my personal library.
The wife says I have too many books. I disagree, I have a house that is too small.

Put on my Coast Guard Auxiliary hat today and taught an 8-hour NSBLA boating safety class to the Antioch Public Works Department. That was the best class I have ever had. Super jazzed looking back on the day.

I think they really believe it.
They cannot conceive of hundreds of people assembling in our insignificant town in an unimportant state because we believe in something.
