I need to just try to figure out how to block on my Unifi platform. I have a mesh as well as a 2.4 and 5 segment. Some of my devices require internet and I won't block...things like my water shutoff valve, thermostats and garage doors. I would love to just isolate the streaming items and be done.
Going to my grave mumbling the Lloyd Dobler table speech but railing against (spy) tech.
Oh yes, this is the good stuff.
You absolutely can. The problem is filtering, I'm sure the Unifi platform can filter via blacklists and even if it can, can I apply it to one segment or is it network wide. Let me back up - I'm sure it can, but at an enterprise price tag. I'm really overbuilt here at home.

My family would lose their mind trying to work around something like that and I would just inherit another to-do list item with whitelist requests. Unless they have streamlined. I built one of those years ago. It was a fun project.
