So many great talks today from many of our PhD cohorts! Good day to get across a lot of the work going on in our school -- from modelling Ovarian cancers, to looking for ionisation in the tails of Jellyfish galaxies, and a super interesting talk on what "rotation" actually is!

The most powerful thing you can do, even if you are in other countries, is move away from the money making machines he has. Twitter is is global propaganda machine. Extinguish its power by not using it, asking your legislative reps, your media dept's, your friends/family, etc. to stop using it.

Many of us, in particular from minorities, said this in the dying days of Twitter. We have been saying this for years now (from 2024 below) Minorities are the first to be subjected to the harm and violence because powerful white supremacists deem it so. *MOST DANGEROUS PERSON ON THE PLANET*

If you've never felt the fear and anxiety, even from half a world away, when a single bad actor is used as the example to deem an entire race, nationality, or community as 'the enemy', then consider yourself to be extremely privileged. Every Middle Eastern person, since 9/11, will attest to this.

Heading in to campus to hear lots of cool science talks from the HDR students, and also present some of my results on the pesky pulsars too! Looking forward to seeing how the other students work is progressing -- will try and share some stuff if it is allowed through the day.
