Thursday lunchtime update with a look at the rain tonight and then the chances of warm weather next week.
GFS weather model latest forecast of upper air temperatures continues to bring warmer air further North towards Ireland later next week. Other models have a much briefer blast of warm air. Either way it will be a hot spell for many parts of Western Europe.
Interesting setup on the models next week with a lot of uncertainty on the ECM model but GFS is much more confident of some settled high pressure weather. The ECM update this evening that Met Éireann app and site use behind 56 hours looks to be worst case scenario. The ECM AI model is more like GFS
Weekend looking pretty good with only showers Saturday and good sunny spells Saturday evening for all the gigs. Sunday mainly dry for many but risk of rain in West later in afternoon.
