Congestion on Sheridan, Hollywood, and Broadway is truly atrocious due to the number of drivers trying to get on DLSD. Today I had order a car and it took 10 minutes to go two blocks. Most of the drivers are coming from Chicago’s Far North Side and near suburbs. There should be transit riders.

@the48thward.bsky.social deserves a big shout out for helping get a bunch of seating installed throughout the 48th Ward, and it is all getting used. Public seating is such a rare luxury in Chicago, yet it’s critical infrastructure. (We could use some on Argyle still… and maybe some side streets! 😊)
