stayed up too late and spent an obscene amount of time figuring out how to do something that's not necessary to my VN and that nobody will notice. but i learned more ren'py in the process so we'll call it a win

got my laptop out to write for a little bit before sleeping and it started making the most horrible noise. so naturally i had to open it and clean it. turns out there was a tiny little piece of plastic rattling around in the fan. NOW i can write for a little bit before sleeping...over an hour later
