These systems aren’t intuitive enough to discern good from bad engagement on content. Algos are always turned towards things you will interact with. This means folks using this will get alt right content pushed at them.
Part of the communication problem is the inclusion of AI at all if it’s truly just a tool to arrange your feed. Meta has been doing that forever without tagging the feature as AI.
