Does it matter that he did vote for Collins more than once?
How can people get mad that Dems are voting "aye" on Trump's appointees or that Harris had a couple of appearances with Cheney and ignore that?
Also goes for the "polished" suit-wearing types. Maybe they've donated to lot of causes you care about (Steyer). Maybe you see them on TV a lot (Trump).
None of this is an argument in their favor.
