my response to that report on the humanities is that I haven’t read it because several of the authors are morons, and you don’t need to read it either
broke my rule to not argue with americans about something happening outside their own country, and now I remember why I have this rule
There may be worse and better ways of keeping kids off of social media, but it needs to happen. If that ruins social media for the rest of us, so be it.

The hostility you face when you suggest that social media needs regulation just further suggests that social media needs regulation.
Nothing like a pogrom to bring out that ecumenical spirit
Americans will literally tell you that the most basic regulations are bringing about a police state.
People will accuse you of taking away a child’s community. A very poor notion of community is at work here.
