I'm greatly saddened to hear that John Blanche has passed away. His art threads through the core of all the #Warhammer worlds, it inspired & informed everything I've written for the Sisters of Battle, the Blood Angels & the Horus Heresy.

The man was a giant whose shadow has cloaked the entire hobby, not in grim darkness, but in vibrant, idiosyncratic colour.
