Ok, so I have today learned that we could have had a Doctor Who series starring Tom Baker and Mark Hamill with production design by H R Giger, I have no idea what that would have been like but I wish we'd found out 😭
A few weeks back I stumbled across the HMV Vault shop in Birmingham, and it was like stepping back in time 20 years. It's one of the last 'original concept' HMV locations, prioritising film and music over merchandise and pop culture. I didn't realise how much I'd missed browsing shops like this

Incredibly, this was its last appearance in the catalogues, although some say on dark nights at the Cocoa Works you can still hear the distant rustle of cellophane...
