For the EU, it is important to continue cooperation with Japan on AI skills, but also promoting decent work, strengthening worker protection, and addressing labour shortages.

The EU and Canada share strong focus on quality jobs and skills. We exchanged views on several key topics: the impact of AI on jobs, labour mobility and skills portability.
It was a pleasure to attend the Hospice dinner at the Bran Castle, bringing together friends and supporters of the Hospice cause alongside His Excellency Giles Portman, the British Ambassador to Romania.
