All security guards come here and they start off strong.. walking around, making sure the teens aren't hanging off the balcony. Then they become complacent & sit in a corner tucked away playing on their phone. What is the point of that?
I shouldn't have to ask them to do their job but I just did.
I have never come to the desk at 4pm on a Friday and have dealt with so many people on this floor. Every table is taken with teens studying for their finals..on a Friday afternoon. This group next to me is actually in MIDDLE SCHOOL.
Well, I hope they realize we close at 6pm and not 9pm.
I am having a night tonight. They're in 9th grade and really not interested in studying. They're here to fool around, play on their phone and have a good time.
One thing that's very cool about my job is that if a holiday falls on a weekend that we're usually closed for, we get an additional day off in lieu of.
Thank you 7/4 for falling on a Saturday this year so I can have a vacation day from late July back!
