The counter is a bit flaky when LOTS of cyclists go past at once. The old counter used to miss when 2 cyclists went past side by side and this one does something similar. Clearly not quite working at 100% because 10k feels pretty low for the amount of cyclists who I saw today
I confess I hadn't realised Scotland were playing a World Cup warm up against Bolivia today (I'd spotted that the English were playing). Somehow Scotland are 4-0 up at half time .... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...
Good heavens. Just catching up on today's Tour of Wallonie. What a ridiculous finish but absolutely chuffed to bits for Arnaud de Lie. Poor lad looks like he's in absolute bits bless him.
Bike lanes very busy again today. I don't think I've ever seen congestion like it on CS2 through Whitechapel etc this morning. Deary me.

There's a fun documentary on the BBC where you can see the away trip (to Bosnia shortly after the war) that sparked this, where they visited a local orphanage and took up a "shoe box appeal". Beautiful and well done lads and lassies share.google/S2Kq8ZKlz9rA...
No Scotland, no party. And the Tartan Army is more than just a bunch of slightly tipsy folk in kilts. Since the 2003 the Tartan Army has a charitable branch and for 112 away games had donated to local children's charities. This World Cup is no different. 10k given to a local kids hospital.
Oh and it's World Bicycle Day! Happy World Bicycle Day to all cyclists and their bikes.
Another slightly soggy day out on the bike (thankfully it was dry when I got home) to ride over to the gym and back. My jacket had dried since yesterday which is good (yay).

Tube Strike Day 2. A bit drier than earlier in the week (hurrah!), so the bike lanes were much busier. Cool yer jets Rapharati- we all just want to get home safe.

I took a couple of photos on my commute home this evening (besides roadworks and cyclist counters).... the light was so beautiful, as if the weather was pretending that nothing happened today.
