I am not at all seeking to minimize the seriousness of malaria, dengue, yellow fever, etc. but if we are going to count infections in the death toll for non-human animals, shouldn't we also count them for humans? Especially since we can take steps to reduce the germs we spread (unlike mosquitoes)
