The cat nuzzled against his hand.
The apartment seemed oddly.. empty.
And quiet. Like Dick wasn’t home, except he 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 be. Nightwing certainly wasn’t out.
But then— a muffled yowl. And a thump. Coming from behind the closed bedroom door.
The locked door. Which, clearly, anything without opposable thumbs would have trouble with.
