✅ 5 m × 5 m geometric resolution
✅ Coverage extended to the polar regions
Twenty one years ago today, Canada lost one of its great minds in geography and geostatistics, my first mentor and academic advisor, Ferko Csillag. His legacy lives on partly through his students who have gone onto careers in academia, government and industry. I think he would be proud.
