Every time I listen to Rabbi Jonathan Sacks (ז״ל) I am blown away by his scholarship, his wisdom, his depth, and his ability to connect to today. I walk away enlivened and proud. Today I was listening to this lectures, as I prepare my cheder class for next weekend.

The more I think about this, the more annoyed I am. It isn’t the peer reviewer’s job to check references. The journal / publisher should be doing this. It isn’t hard, and the failure to check really reflects poorly on the journal as much as the author.
